Behavioural Audiometry for Children

We employ industry‑standard, age‑appropriate behavioural tests that provide accurate hearing thresholds for children when conventional methods are not suitable:

• Behavioral Observation Audiometry (BOA) for infants under ~6 months:
  → Records observable reflexive responses—such as eye blinks, startling, or head movements—to sounds.
• Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) for ages ~6–24 months:
  → Trains head-turn responses to sound, reinforced by animated toys or video stimuli at 90°.
• Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA) for ages ~2–5 years:
  → Converts testing into a fun task (e.g., dropping blocks in a bucket) to maintain engagement and find thresholds.

These tests enable reliable hearing assessments even in very young or developmentally diverse children—critical for early detection and intervention.
